Jet Ski
How much fuel per hour does a jet ski consume?
I live 8 miles from my office across a bay. I would like to ride across it with a jet ski on a daily basis. I'm just wondering if this is econmically viable.
Can anyone here tell me with some precision how much fuel a jet ski would consume if you go across a salt water bay, placid as a lake, at optimum speed?

With precision is a difficult task.....Depends on the jet ski...kinda like asking how much fuel a car uses to drive 60 miles...engine size, type of jet ski, weight are all a factor.
If you already have the jet ski, drive the distance and see, if not, rent or borrow one like you want to use for this trip and see (fill the tank, make the trip, fill the tank).

How old do you have to be to ride a jet ski?
I'm goin to Hawaii and when I get there I wanna ride the jet ski's, what do need when from the legal point.(license or anything like that)Also how old do you have to be to ride them.
you have to be 18 (if you are renting them to ride) or if you have a boaters safety license (you completed the 2 day program)
If you own the jet ski yourself, you can be 16, or younger WITH the license =)

Personally, I have feelings of shame about the whole thing. I am in a similar situation due to the high fuel prices and coupled with being in the trucking business, it only equals pending DISASTER. Well, here we are in Sept 2008, and I just left my attorneys office after he told me there was nothing he could do about my situation under chapter 7 or 13. So as far as this guy in Texas goes, his bankruptcy was under the old rules. The new rules really put the screws to u. My attorney was honest enough to inform me, that, since I am still earning more than the above average Floridian, Doesn't matter that I can't pay my creditors, that I will have to file a chap. 13 and I will have to sell my tractor, doesn't matter that, that is how I make my living, I will have to sell my 11 year old pick up (the only personal vehicle we own) It's worth more than 1k, we own no big screen t.v's, no harleys, jet ski's, 4 wheelers, etc. Most of my debt is due to the fuel prices and housing crunch, yet the Government bails out Bear Sterns and AIG and fanny mae and freddie mack. Then the attorney informs me that I have to take a 7 page means test, the court uses the definition established by the IRS to determines how much a family should spend on fuel, food, clothes, etc. Since when does anyone in Government live in the reality of America? The conclusion that my attorney had came up with was to buy an answering machine, and since I am self employed, the creditors can't garnish my wages (ha ha) and… Get the Picture. You can thank that Idiot that Senator Obama selected for his VP running mate, he's from Delaware, corporate home to most of the nations banks and he helped to spearhead the new bankruptcy legislation (because of the lobbying and campaign contributions of the same banks) which now is screwing over the little guy. I thought the Democrats were for the little guy? I will pull out of this mess some how with out the help of the damn government. Thank God for the 2nd amendment.

My husband and myself have just been accused and arrested for cultivating marijuana. Yes we smoke mj for medical conditions and have legal recommendations . The law agencies that arrested us and raided our home and confiscated our personal belongings , is now saying that they found a huge amount of money, about $250,000, among our personal belongings. Said it was found in a locked jet ski trailer box. WHAT? This is truly a set up. Yes, I did have about $40,000 in cash in my bedroom, that I have been saving for over 8 yrs. I don't do alot of business with banks because of todays economy!!! Would you blame me for that? We are building our dream home, five years in the works now, and I have been saving the money for new furniture and appliances. Believe me, if I had $250,000, I would hire someone to come and finish building my home. I have been living in a travel trailer for over 5 yrs now. There is more to this story, but we need help and soon. We are innocent of sales!!! Yes, we had too many plants, about 70 inmature and about 30 lbs of shake that I use to cook with to make strong eatables for my husbands high level of daily pain. Please get this wonderful herb totally legalized so things like this don't happen to good people like us. Besides, the states could use the tax money. With the state of our economy the way it is now, what a prime way to bring in millions in revenue. Thanks for listening.
No, you're in no means a loser, she's just not the girl for you. By the looks of it you are an extremely intelligent man who for once, actually is capable of using correct grammar in their queries, a feat literally unheard of. Second of all, in your relationship, you are in no way at fault, she instigated it by attempting to drive you away from your interests. You love to play video games on your free time, and are capable of doing so in moderation, which she should be fine with, there is no reason she should be against such a thing.
She was an extremely hurtful person who, in the end used you. From what you have explained to us she was in no way caring and had no mutual feelings for you, she was an alcoholic and was a jerk. You are *not* the loser, she is.
