Have we left the "tech age" and entered the "entertainment age"?
It seem for the last couple a years everyone and their brothers' goat only care about how much entertainment, fun and excitement they can bring into their lives. Almsot everyone has a game console, listens to their ipods, chit chats on their phone and goes out and buys a 200" plasma screen for their wall. Everyone is going out on their boats or jet setting to tropical paradises, bungie jumping off the Eifel Tower or Skiing down Mount Everest. Have we Infact entered the age where entertainment is king... it seams like "Deal Or No Deal" is a lot more important these days then what was more important yesterday. Are we entering the "Age of Entertainment" where excitement drives innovation where the passion for self gratifying fun and thrill seeking entertainment is more important then the passion for world peace and the simpleness of dunking a chocolate chip cookie in milk and watching a child's smile fill the room?
