Where are the best places to tent camp in Massachusetts?
I'm looking for a nice place to go tent camping with my boyfriend. We don't need a family camp grounds...just something fun for a couple in their mid-twenties.
I'd love to find a place near the Cape or Martha's Vineyard but anywhere nice in Mass would do...
We're looking for a place where we can swim, ride bikes, rent jet ski's or paddle boats, etc. Thanks!
I you are adventuresome, you can try Nickerson State Park in Brewster.
The adventure part is that as far as I know, they still operate on a first-come, first-served basis (you can't reserve a spot in advance), and people have been known to have to camp in the parking lot for a couple of days before a site became available.
Alternatively, Sweetwater Forrest (also in Brewster) is a family-oriented campground where you can reserve sites in advance.
Both places offer camping, with nearby freshwater ponds. You can swim or ride bikes (there are trails inside Nickerson Park, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail runs by both places). I don't think that power boats of any kind are allowed on the ponds. Its not far from either to one of the many beaches on the Cape - Brewster is on the bay side (the 'quiet' beaches), but its not far to the major ocean beaches.

Wifes Jet Boat Ride
Could anyone please tell me what I can do in Marmaris in Turkey?
I'm going there on Monday for two weeks, so any ideas what there is to do, whether it be fun, adventurous or cultural? Also, is it quite cheap there to do things like jet skiing, all inclusive boat rides, mud baths, excursions etc.? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I went there about a month ago it was the best time of my life i went to the smaller part there icmeler
The excursions were amazing i would highly recomend the Jeep Safari and the day boat trip which involves swimming in the sea going to Jesus Beach, water fights in the moutains, and much much more both are all inclusive but make sure you get them with insurance but they both were very very great
There are many cultural things around to do personally i would ask the hotel staff about what to do there culturally as they could tell you more deatil about where to go what time what day as they work in the tourism industry and have lived in Turkey there whole life.
The mud baths looked great when i went there i didnt experience it myself but the pictures i saw looked great and people said they were amazing
One thing to be careful of is if your insurance covers water sports as many of them dont many people take the risk as there is a small chance of anything happeneing, but it's down to personal choice.
All the exursions are not expensive none of them are
theres a moonlight cruise what you can do which is very very cheap which includes your tea but personally i wouldnt do it again it wasnt bad just wasnt as good as the other excursions and quite boring if your alone or in a very small group

also there are plenty of stalls around if you walk down a street what try and sell you excursions and they tell you all about each excursion but don't be pushed into doing one just say no if you don't want to do one or are unsure about one because if found they tried to push you into buying one but in a nice way and if you go on a Jeep Safari don't wear clean clothes because the amazing excursion leaves you a little dirty but thats part of the fun when you do an excursion they pick you up from your hotel which is very helpful
