I am trying to find a place to stay in Amsterdam in March for 8 people.... help!?
It is my 30th b'day in March, and I had the idea of collecting up some of my fav pple and making a trip to Amsterdam. However, finding somewhere suitable to stay is giving me a major headache! I need somewhere with 3 double beds and a twin. A houseboat would be great, but am open to anything. Trip will be late March 2009. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!!! Cheers!

Now I know that you may think "yuk hostels", but don't let this put you off as the site has hotels and hostels and a section for group bookings as well.
You can choose what kind of accommodation you want (ie double rooms with ensuite) and the prices are decent as well. The major advantage is that you can read reviews (independent and not just sales blurb from the hotel itself) and then based on the comments, get a feel for the place, and if it suits your needs or not.
