What would the price of a nice houseboat be?
Of course, everyone has a different opinion of "nice".
My opinion of "nice" in a houseboat is starting at about $25,000 for a good "nice" used one, and going up in price from there... Of course, the further up in price you go... the nicer they are going to get.
I live on my boat full-time, and I cruise a lot. I see an awful lot of boats for sale, and since my first "big" boat was a houseboat - I still can't help but "size them up" when I cruise by one that is for sale. From all I've seen on my trips around America's Great Loop - it seems that anything under $20 might not be so nice. While most everything over that starts looking pretty good.
Nice new houseboats can be found for around $50,000 up.
