How old do you have to be to rent a houseboat in Nevada?
i heard it was 25 OR 18 and have a boating license.
No law governing this. It's completely up to the rental company. You really need to contact them. Others are correct about credit card and license.

Riverpearl, my old houseboat, sequel
Husband wants us to go on houseboat for 1 week with 1 year old?!?
I am a first time mommy and I am worried about taking my baby on a houseboat for a week. My husband wants us to go with his family on a 6-10 person houseboat for 7 days. I am worried about taking her due to some of them smoke, drink, play loud live music (at night when she will be trying to sleep), and mosquitoes. What will she do for an entire week on a boat? She will be out of her comfort zone.
So, am I being an uptight mommy and should just get over it, or should I not go? I can ask them to not smoke indoors but as for the other things I do not want to ruin everyone's fun. I do want to go I am just worried about her comfort and safety. What do you all think? Thanks
My first reaction was "Yikes". That really doesn't sound like a good idea.
If I were you I'd either see if Grandma or someone can take her for the week so you can have a week vacation with your husband, or you don't go at all.
It sounds like a pretty unsafe environment all around. She would also have to wear a life jacket all the time. Drinking and smoking and children and water simply don't mix.
