What type of Oil or filter for Honda 2002 jet skis?
I have two 2002 Honda jet skis.
AQUATRAX F-12x (ARX1200t3) with 27 hours
and AQUATRAX F-12. (ARX1200n3) with 16 hours
What type of oil is best for these jet skis. I know Honda wants me to buy theirs but i know there is better. The reason why is because the type of oil they want me to buy has old standards and I would like an up to date oil or a better version.

(this is the standards) SG or higher, MA or MB
GN4 motorcycle SAE 10w-40 SJ. OR..
HP4 or HP4M motorcycle SAE10w-40 SJ
And what type of filter besides the stock filter can I get. if there is one. this is the stock # 15410-mfj-do1 or 15410-mcj-003.
You don't have to answer every thing just what you know will help me

I recommend you keep on buying OEM oil filter and OEM oil made for your PWC's. That means keep using the oil Honda tells you to.
If your PWC's are under warranty currently, do not use other oils or non OEM oil filters as this can void your warranty.
I seriously doubt you will get better protection from buying another type of oil. In fact you might up causing more problems than solutions by buying a different type of oil.
There is only one oil my service shop will put recommend or even put in my Mercrusier engine, and that is Mercrury FC-W 25W-40 Engine oil.
In short, do what your owner manual recommends you to buy. Don't try to experiment with different oils and risk your engines. If in doubt, ask a service shop or PWC engine rebuilders that regularly deals with blown engines.
