High Output
What is High Output in jeeps?
My 2004 Grand Cherokee Overland has a 4.7L V8 High OUtput engine. What exactly do they do to make it high output? I am planning to add a performance air intake and exhaust system but I am worried that the High Output option has already given me an upgraded intake and exhaust.
Beverly and especially seahorse are wrong. High out put means there are certain upgrades to your fuel delivery system and ignition timing.
There is nothing you loose by doing upgrades. Plus leave the intake and exhaust alone except for a cat back system
Quick upgrades and cost effective are, Cat back- try borla but your local muffler shop can install a 2.5" cat back pipe with a dynomax muffler and will cost less then half to make and install. Cold air intake, I suggest a AFE system work good and most of the time Cheaper than K&N. Hypertech or Diablo programmer
