How do i make a light fishing boat?
I just want something that can go on top of a car, isn't very heavy and can hold one or two people for fishing in calm waters for drifting across the sand flats and getting to places i can't reach from shore.
Being light would make it easy to launch at any spot.
I would only be traveling short distances less than a kilometer.
there are a lot of good plywood designs for the home builder, many will go together fairly fast.
take a look a Glen L designs, they have a 12' power skiff that only weighs about 110# that you can car top.

I’m not sure I want to encourage this type of cross species relationships. Rubber seagulls bouncing into fishing boats might be funny for a short time but I see a tragedy in the making.
