Why small fishing boats in asia have side extended wood arms?
I am wondering, why the fishing boats in asia have a parallel wood fixed at a distance of about 1m-1.5m from the boat on both side. Is it for balancing the boat from capsizing? If so, why we don't use such safety systems in bigger passenger river boats?
Those are called Outriggers. They have been used by Pacific South Seas islanders for thousands of years.
Yes they are for stability on small vessels. Once a vessel is so large that it displaces (old math formula here) then the outrigger becomes redundant.
You are describing a Tri-Maran. There are very large Tri-Marans and some rather large Cata-marans.
On a planing vessel, Cathedral Hulls add stability.
On displacement vessels the double hull or pontoon makes a nice platform. On River Boats is all about Draft. That means Displacement.
Stability, that means displacement.
For touring boats , yes the multihull design works very well, even in some Working Applications the multi-hull works better.
A san-pan is a very stable vessel, it is a mono-hull.
I think one of the reasons that design is not used is in the haul-out. A vessel should be hauled out on a regular basis for cleaning and repairs to the hull.
My buddy has a Hinged Tri-Maran, it fits on a 8' trailer when it is all out she is 25' L and 14' Beam. That is one very stable vessel, its shallow draft makes her easy to navigate in almost any depths.

The semen contains many things. Between 95 to 98% of it consists of fructose, prostaglandin hormones, metal and salt ions, lipids, steroid hormones, enzymes, basic amines, and amino acids. There was no such thing as you claimed. The ant didn't speak with Sulayman a.s.
