Can anyone tell me where to get information on Edison (Edson?) fresh water fishing boats built in late 70s?
I am looking at restoring a 14 or 15 foot boat and wanted to get some general information on the boat.
Orin Edson made boats under the Bayliner name from 1961 until 1986 when he sold the business to Brunswick, a good spot, where you will probably find all the information you need is http://p076.ezboard.com/bbocweb . It is a Bayliner owners group that has a forum dealing in restoration and another with hard to find parts. Hope this helps.

How much do fishing boats owners pay per 1 ton of MGO & IFO fuel in the USA?
Those who have big fishing boats in the USA, how much they pay for MGO and IFO fuel? I wonder if the USA government stimulates such high fuel prices, or have any benefits for the fishing companies. I know that governments of Iceland and England provide benefits to fishing companies that spend huge amounts of money to fuel their fishing vessels, otherwise the companies would go out of business. Is there anything like that in the USA?

I'm sorry, I neglected to mention that coast guard patrol boats radioed the fishing boats a grand total of 8 times before finally commencing fire from an infantry caliber weapon. Less than fifty rounds were fired OVER THE BOWS, as per international maritime law. A handful struck the bow, where no fishermen could have possibly been since on most smaller fishing boats, the bow is the site of the frozen storage compartment. The whole episode, of course was a minute and pathetically insignificant episode that of course had not even the least bearing on international affairs. Congragulations, however, on making a mouse into an elephant, as we say in Russian. You always come through in that regard.
