Style Family cruiser
What would be a good first bike?
A lot of my family rides, and they have certified instructors nearby, so I'm not really worried about learning to ride properly.
But I'm 5'5", thin, don't really want the Harley/cruiser style, and am really in it for fun and saving gas money (about 80 miles a day) with all the commuting I do.
I'm still in the research stage, though. I don't know much about bikes.
Buell Blast is a popular (Chick) first bike . Light ,enough power, but not scary fast and inexpensive.
And they look pretty cool. Sportbike styling.

Harley Davidson Insurance -Typical Cost?
I am a 19-year old male who has been riding a motorcycle for about 3 years and took a rider safety course. I was wondering what possible insurance costs would be for a Harley 883 Sportster, probably a 98 or newer (probably nothing newer than a 2005 though). Specifically, I was wondering about American Family Insurance (but any general info would be appreciated too). I am looking to upgrade my bike (along with the size of my engine, ive been driving a 250 for a while now). I beleive american family cant even cover sport bikes for a rider like me, so i was thinking about getting another cruiser/standard style bike. i have kind of been drawn towards Harley, but if insurance is too expensive, ill have to look for something else. Does anyone have any other suggestions for bikes? or general info? thanks
and does anyone know if American Family considers the 500 Ninja a sport bike? I dont know if that bike would be my first choice, but i know there if one for sale around here...
Too many variables such as where you live, what your driving record is like, what type of coverage you're looking for, etc. Phone and surf around for different quotes. That will be the best way to find out which company is cheapest for you.
