Double Impact trailer
Is it legal in NSW to park a Fully loaded B double semi trailer in a suburban street.?
Even an empty one. My next door neighbour parks a truck in our culdesac and it half blocks off the entrance to the street, and to top it off he starts the truck up and revs it at all hours of the morning without even driving anywhere.
Please help, don't want to complain to police if nothing can be done.
I believe it may be illegal. It may be so on the basis that the trucks weight is too heavy for a suburban street and also for noise ordinance violations.
Simply call your local council and ask what the laws are. It will take a few minutes for them to tell you.
If it's deemed illegal, have them send it to you in writing and submit that document along with your complaint to the Police.
If you do not make the call, you may never change anything!

I was driving a double trailer attached to a full size tractor rig and headed east. When I came out of the Eisenhower tunnel in the crest of the Rockies headed east, the road crew had banked snow on both sides of the highway and were letting one vehicle at a time slide down the road. I went down and the cab started turning sideways and I was powering it to get traction to keep the trailers from breaking loose and keep them in a reasonably straight line. By the time I hit the slow down and drive right section at the bottom, my speedometer was reading over 75 mph. I wouldn’t do that again for 50,000 dollars.

I was in that traffic. Took the almost 2 hours to get from the West End of Corona to the East. The Pep Boys truck was a double-trailer and the front half of the thing was melted to the ground. The whole freeway was covered in garbage.
