Is my towing or trailering eye on my boat causing leaks?
I have a 24 ft Chaparral Sunesta 236 deckboat. I just bought it used and its an awesome boat. After a day on the water I noticed once I drained the water from the drain plug that I lot of water came out. Probably for a good 30 seconds. I think I may have a leak, what do you think>>?
First question: Is this a normal amount of water for a full day on the lake?
Second question: I noticed a potential small leak or damage around the trailering eye on the boat. If it is damage it would only have been caused by pulling the boat onto the trailer or while trailering. Is it likely that the leak is stemming from damage or from just a simple leak that can be repaired by some fiberglass or epoxy. Any boaters out there experienced anything like this that can shed some light on the subject?
water under the deck could be from your the damaged trailer eye. it could also have been from condensation or a deck fitting that needs re sealing. finding leaks is a process of elimination. since there appears to be damage to the trailering eye, repairing it is a good place to start.

There's also 2 independent butchers in little ol' Asquith.
And don't forget about the dozens and dozens of Asian butchers all around Sydney.
We shop a lot at Eastwood. There were already at least 4 on the western side of the rail line. (I'm sure there would be at least one on the eastern side where most of the Korean shops are.)
Their windows are stacked high with meat especially on a Saturday. One of them is the busiest butcher I have ever seen anywhere in my life. And only today John said another one had opened at Eastwood west side.
Lots of our non Asian friends love the Chinese butchers because their prices are good and they have different cuts from your average chain or supermarket.
If you like pork chops, for example, but find the English thick ones too difficult to cook thru and keep moist, try the Chinese cut of pork chop. You just have to put up with the crowds and rush to get served. And the fussy old ladies in front of you.
You'll be relieved to know I have not seen any paradise ducks, or horse meat for sale there.
I do remember in the 1950s my grandfather in Melbourne *always* bought horse meet for his dogs. II used to help him cut it up. I would remember the smell if I saw horse meat againHe had cairn terriers, including 2 were bought in England and travelled in their own mobile kennels on the deck of boats.
