How do you get to the website that has the boat called meteor in it?
There is a Museum Ship land docked on the west side of Michigan named S.S. Meteor,it was a Great lakes whaleback built around 1910.Whaleback is an experimental design that looks like a submarine hull.Meteor is a SHIP,because she can hoist her life BOATS out of the water,(Old Navy definition).Never have gotten used to the cylindrical above deck tanks,would make her very top heavy and hard to maneuver.Check Boatnerd.com or the Tourist Guide "Know your ships" for sale at many spots around the Great lakes.Try the Dossin Ship Museum on Belle Isle in the Detroit river,if you're nearby.It's a great place to see freighters.Belle Island is a Detroit City park with picnic tables and Grills.It's gone downhill lately though.

Sounds and pilot heat issue are a matter of not understanding heat management at all. As the man above said, think about how hot your laptop gets, but also remember that it will run for days in the sun at temps of 100Degrees or more. That’s because the parts that are heat sensitive pipe heat away from themselves. As for getting the heat off the aircraft, if NASA can come up with a way to cool the international space station without the use of convection or conduction heat transfer, they should be able to cool an airframe.
