What is the best way to take indoor photos of shiny, glossy cars in a showroom ?
I am doing a basic ( analog {35mm} + digital camera + hotshoe mounted flash ) photoshoot at the opening night of a friend's custom bodyshop and want to be sure the shots of the cars, boats and other vehicles that have a clearcoat finish won't come out with a white or yellow "flashspot" on it....Besides a diffuser, any other tips , tricks or techniques to help me out ???? ( I can't afford the fancy lighting setup of typical photoshoots plus there will be lots of people so I'll have to be mobile !!! )

Diffidently get the adjustable polarized filter. It's fantastic for anything that produces glare (ie: water, clouds, glass, and glossy objects)
***Some windshields have a coating that turn the windshield purple or some other strange color while shooting with a polarized lens.

im currently in the process of purchasing a mastercraft x-45 wakeboarding boat and im looking to get a custom paint job for it. I know its cheaper to do it yourself but the stuff im doing is too hard to do by myself seeing how i have no experience. does anyone know where i can get it done and or how much its going to cost becase im trying to get a set price tag on how much im spending...

The cost varies depending on where you live but you will spend a lot of money.
Where I live and work (California) a super custom paint job for something like your boat could be anywhere from $10,000 - $40,000. Just about anywhere else in the country it should be a bit cheaper. Almost everything related to boats is brutal on the finances.
