cuddy Water
Can a boat be anchored at the front and the rear?
We have a 4winns 225 Sundowner Cuddy, my kids are wanting to camp on the boat, we only take it on small lakes, such as state parks, not a whole lot of movement on the water. Are you able to anchor the boat at both ends of the boat? We have done it during the day hours eating lunch, but never for a long period of time. Just wanted to make sure it was legal. Hopefully quick answers, Thank you. Earl.
It seems obvious to me that these people are not reading your question....SMALL LAKES.....no tides or currents ....Yes you can anchor your boat from the bow and the stern. Wind will probably be the only factor you will need to consider. Ensure that both anchors are angled away from the boat. I have done this on inland lakes so many times I could not even try to count. If the winds pick up the boat will start rocking and most likely wake them up. They can check the anchor lines at that time.

How much to reseal a Mercruiser out drive?
we are restoring a 1978 Wellcraft Cuddy, I removed the outdrive to replace the Bellows,and water pump, I laid the outdrive on the ground and oil is comming out the drive shaft opening, I havent told my wife yet because I know her first question will be is How much is that going to cost?
I just need a rough Idia.
the out drive is pre alpha in good condition its just old..
