For Sale 40' of Well-Maintained Cruising Yacht

Auction went fairly well we sold some 175 items .
Some items went for silly prices like a Garmin Chartplotter with charts £20:00 Sailor DSC VHF £5:00 Walker log little used completer with spare rotor ,all nicely boxed £30:00 etc etc etc . Some 20 to 30 persons were bidding all must have secured a bargan.
Since my last auction of some 15 years ago, the quality of items for sale has improved .However ,the number of members attending has significantly reduced.
We made a bit for the Club and the RNLI.
Again many thanks to all the members and committee who assisted with this event .
It was nice to see a good attendance on a Sunday lunchtime ,I hope the bar made a bit as well.
We still have two cruising yachts for sale and a really good wind vane steering gear which would suit the long distance cruiser!!!!!
I think you should travel.
It's amazing out there, you won't feel the same again. You'll meet people, sometimes weird, sometimes cool… you'll have heaps of stories to tell, photos to look at and remember, and you'll find then you have things in common with other people who've traveled as well. It's eye opening, and refreshing.
