cruising sailboats for sale
Can anyone reccomend a inflatable raft for my engine?
I was gifted a mercury 6 or 8 hp engine and i need a inflatable boat because i have a 4 cyl sedan and cant tow anything lol. Any recomendations? I was looking at sevylor any good? It wikl be for lake cruising
Even with a 4 cyl sedan, you can trailer most anything in the rating range of a 6 - 8 hp outboard. So the idea of a rigid dinghy or jon boat is certainly not out of the question.
I live on my boat and cruise albout 220 or so days a year, and I tow an inflatable dingy behind my sailboat and in turn it becomes my SUV for trips to shore.
As bad as I hate West Marine prices, (and avoid them as much as I can) I have to recommend West Marine's inflatables. They are a more expensive, but they also tremendously stronger and better, and for sure will last about 1000 times longer then a Seylor. So if your serious, get a serious inflatable. (They're been on sale for about $400 off.)
In the serious boating community, Seylor inflatables are toys for tots. In fact, I don't think they make one that will handle a 6hp motor. You will be very lucky to have one last an entire boating season.

My DH looks at sailboats for sale on CL every.single.day. We already have one, but he thinks we need a bigger one to live on permanently. YIKES!
I helped my son sell a large Technic Lego set, new in box, on CL. We met the guy at the public library, in the middle with other people around us.
We try selling things on the neighborhood trading post first, which is usually great since there are 500 homes in our hood.
PS. Kellie, couches never sell! Don't know why. I also tried giving a nice sofa and loveset to a couple who had no furniture and the guy said the couch wasn't long enough to lie down!
