Nice little boats. Built like battleships but actually quite cmpetitive racing in their day. Designed by Ian Anderson. Longish keel with separate spade rudder - easy to dry out alongside a wall.
From what I can rember pretty good upwind by the standards of the time, especially in srongish conditions and generally vice-free and pleasant to sail. But it's a LONG time ago!

What is the difference between a cruiser and a motor yacht?
A cruiser is any vessel set up with living facilities for an extended voyage, be it a weekend or for years. Cruiser's can be sail or motor.
A motor yacht (yacht being defined as a pleasure craft) can be a cruiser, a fishing boat, or most anything else that doesn't have sails. However, most would consider the term to mean a cruising motor vessel.
