Cobalt Boats Unload
I have a 1980 Cobalt boat I/O and the only speed I can get is idle in forward and reverse. Is it the throttle?
cable and if so where do I look for the problem (on the engine or at the shifting lever. Thanks.
I'd suspect the throttle cable is not attached to the carburetor. It's a snap on ball connection. It's possible that it came off or the ball fitting broke. There are other possibilities but that's the starting point.
