does anyone know of a site where i can enter engine serial # to find out exact displacement and year.?
I have an old Chris Craft yacht that has some sort of Chrysler big blocks, and I need to get some replacement parts. Originally the boat came with 413's but it was repowered 25-30 years ago with what I believe were twin 426"s
Try Jasper Engines, they should be able to come up with the original "as built" specs. But to find actual displacement requires accurate measurement and math, as they may have been bored and or stroked during their life. If that doesn't help, try Peterson Publishing, the guys who put out Hot Rod Mag., along with many other great mags. They have a great website. PS, Good luck with your C/C. Spent many daydreaming afternoons on the Intercoastal. Is she a Connie by some chance?
