POLL For The Common Man: Do you feel bad for the guy that has to...?
POLL For The Common Man: Do you feel bad for the guy that has to downgrade his 34' twin-engine boat for a 23' eco-friendly model cause of gas prices?
I'm not hating on people that have more money than me, they earned it, it's their right to spend it as they see fit. But to make it front page news, when there’s people choosing between the mortgage payment and putting gas in the car, to me that’s wrong.
Just looking for your thoughts, ideas, opinions, conjectures...

Bash me all you want, but I feel bad for consumers who are paying higher gas prices when the wealthy can AFFORD to use gas just for the sake of pleasure boating.
I'm cutting MY gas consumption all I am ABLE to do, while others with more money to "burn" use a dwindling resource for no other reason than pleasure.
On a SIDE NOTE: I live on a resort lake, and notice a SHARP decline in boat traffic, so perhaps others feel just as I DO or are suffering from the same lack of "extra" funds to pursue boating.
