What are the best places to visit in Kerala ?
Kerala has almost everything and best place is based on your taste or preference. If you love beaches, Kovalam (near Trivandrum) is the best. If you are looking for backwaters and houseboats, it's Allappey or Kumarakam (near Kottayam). If you need hill stations, tea estates, it's Munnar. And Wayanad (north of Kerala) for extremes of natural beauty.
If you have an appetite for pilgrim centers, Kerala has plenty of such of Hindu, Christian & Muslim. Lots of famous temples, Churches / Basilicas / tombs of Saints, etc makes it a pilgrim center as well.
Besides all these, there many other beautiful places like Ponmudi hills, Neyyar, etc (near Trivandrum), Thenmala eco-tourism, Jewish synagogues (Kochi), Bolgatti palace (Kochi) and the list go on.... keep exploring - enjoy Kerala at its best

This is one of your best for me! I love the beauty and the idea of the crystal clear water with the coolness of the shade trees in the distance. My daddy always loved Center Hill Lake and we spent so many summers there that my children's children even grew to love it's wonder and beauty. Thank you for this precious memory.
