Cadet fish
What are my chances of getting into the Naval Academy?
I am a junior now in a private school and am taking all college prep classes. Due to my freshman year I have a 2.2 GPA. By the end of this year my GPA should be a 3.0. I am getting into the sea cadets right now, and am on three varsity sports:
Golf
Swimming
Polo
I am also in the environmental club, and am on the fishing team. Been thinking about the Naval Academy since last semester, and am extremely curious what my chances are, even possibly for NAPS.
Dude get ur GPA higher and try to be captain of a varsity sports team. Get yourself into some leadership roles in a club or do student government at your school or anything leaderly. Start getting into contact with them, tour the school, do the summer seminar this summer for a week in june at annapolis to get the feel for the school and see how you like it. Also, if you don't get into USNA, sign up for NROTC when you go off to civilian college and reapply for annapolis (if you still want to go there) for sophmore year of college....they take people in that situation. Also, get your application in as soon as possible!
