buying the right boat anchor
I bought a Lexmark 1200 series printer for my T23 IBM Think Pad.?
My laptop will not recognize the USB cable and printer. I went to the Lexmark web sight and downloaded the 1200 series driver and installed it and still nothing. This printer is nnothing more than a boat anchor.
Thoughts?
Many printers are requiring you to install software before connecting printer - check your printers in control panel to make sure it isn't in there and then reboot computer, load CD and it should prompt you when to connect printer
