bow ski
do you need to use a bow stopper on the trailer when transporting?
a boat may be cause they are heavier, but in my case, a jet ski. 2-seater, so doesn't weigh that much. i am having trouble installing them, i have the rubber V-bow guards type. (not the rollers)
Chapman's Piloting & Seamanship (1) -- this book is the "bible" when it comes to small boat advice (do this or fail). Chapman, and various other boating resources, says that the winch line is NOT a tie-down.
Many state laws stipulate this too (Florida for sure). (2)
If you value your PWC (and anything else it might fly into because of hard braking, swerving, or a crash) then please install a bow stopper and a forward tie-down. Of course, you also need tie-downs on the rear too! Nothing ruins a great day of boating worse than finding an empty trailer when you get to the launch site.

Is this too long of a fuel line?
I've got a 14ft ski boat, and I'm tired of dealing with portable gas tanks. The under transom area is too small for a fuel tank, so I was thinking about putting a permanent tank up in the bow. That would make the fuel line about 12 or 13 feet from the outboard motor. Is that too long of a run? If that would work, where would I put the priming bulb, back by the motor, or up front by the tank?
It's a 115HP Mercury
You must use two hose clamps per join on any filler pipe and breather pipe. The primer bulb should be anywhere that is convenient to use. It just primes the fuel system until the engine starts, when the fuel pump takes over, also any pump works better pushing than sucking.
Avoid restrictions in the fuel line caused by fittings with small internal bores or right angle joints. Make sure there are no air leaks anywhere in the fuel line length.
It is good practice to try and keep a weight that alters constantly central and low - not that easy retrospectively though is it?

WHAAAAAT?!? Is this a joke?
If I wasn't laughing so hard, I'd be screaming. Are all female interviewers, whom I assume are in a position of some authority, really so petty, insecure, and lacking in emotional control that they would fly into a jealous rage at the sight of a piece of jewelry? Why aren't we warned that the sight of a large engagement ring might enrage a male interviewer, because it signals that the interviewee in question is less available for MadMenesque office trysts and regular sexual harassment? Why aren't male candidates warned that interviewers may fly into a rage if they don't leave their Tiger Beat haircuts, overblown egos, and general jackassery at home? Are gigantic, in-your-face-sized engagement rings such an epidemic that they merit mention at all?
Note to self: at my next law firm interview (ha), be sure to wear baby pink peplum jacket and bow skirt, platform peep toes, and six carats.
