Where can I buy a new or used Mercury Watermouse?
These used to be the rental boats at Walt Disney World. I can't find any online for sale. I'd love to find one, especially with a trailer.
I have tried Google and Yahoo, as well as Craigslist in several Florida areas (since the Water Mouse was a Disney World rental boat), but I have not found much other than an old listing in the Baltimore Craigslist for a pretty beat-up one. I was hoping someone might know of a boat dealer who might specialize in these cool little two-seaters.
Ebay is a good source for many things, but there hasn't been a Water Mouse there for a long time.
C'mon people - I am not an idiot (lol)! I have been scouring the "easy" resources on the web. Someone out there MUST know of a dealer who handles these little boats, especially since they're no longer being used at Disney.
Have you contacted Disney?Most times when amusement parks start getting rid of their old equipment they have certain people they deal with. They should be able to put you in touch with someone. Probably the best way is to call the corporate office (or write) and just ask them where they sent them or if they have any in storage somewhere. Altho the person you first talk to may just say"WHAT?????" Just stick with it and dig into the stories of them.
