Padde boats are for sale by the company river fun. The equation c=0.10 t+4 gives the charge in dollars c for renting a paddle boat for t minutes.
alright now heres the question from the story problem.__
a customer at river fun is charged $9. How long did the customer use a padle boat?
substitute in all ur info first:
c= $9
then solve it algebraically:
$9=0.10t+4

Question on buying boat?
Should I rent a boat during the year and see how much time I spend with it, or do you think that it will pay for itself over time. How is the re-sale of boats as a whole in the US? Also, if you buy a used boat, what should you spend to get a decent starter? I'm not looking for the top of the line.
The two happiest days of a boat owners life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it... Also the way to tell if you really want a boat is if you can go to the water throw in a hundred dollar bill and it not hurt.

thanks, will, I liked your site. I can see the new tugs in your photographs too, and in the work boats for sale ads. I didn't mean to imply the port was dying; I like to see older boats outfitted and repurposed. My Havana joke was misleading because there is new investment in the tugs and maritime industries. The City viewed from the water is a continuous, vital commercial endeavor on shore and off, populated by people with tough jobs and their own logics and lore. Exciting.
