Bayliner Trophy Gps

I have a 22' 2001 Bayliner Trophy with a 190hp Merc I/O in it. At 3300 out of 4600rpms,how many miles per gal?

A 190 hp 4 stroke engine generally consumes approximately 19 gph at WOT. GPH fuel consumption is NOT linear it is exponential. When you reduce the throttle from 4600 to 3300 rpms (approximately 3/4 of WOT) your fuel consumption is CUT IN HALF. At 3300 rpm you are consuming approximately 9 gph. Use a GPS (borrow a handheld if you don't have one) to obtain an accurate speed reading at 3300 rpm then divide the speed by 9 to get a close approximation of your miles per gallon at that speed.
