Honeymoon in Puerta Vallarta or Cabo?
This will be my second trip to Mexico and her first. We are looking at going sometime between November and February since the wedding is in October. Any suggestions for a nice quiet place for a couple to go and have fun but be alone if we choose to.

Well you can go to any of the places,but i will like to prefer Cabo san lucas.
Here is the itinerary for cabo san lucas:-
The widest range of activities, that Cabo offers, is in and around the sea. The beaches around town offer a lot of the usual water sports, like jet-skis, banana boats, parasailing etc. There are also cruises with glass bottom boats to peek at the sea life and sunset cruises to enjoy the sunset on the sea. You can also indulge in some kayaking (costs vary between $40 - $60, depending on the time of the day), to enjoy the beautiful views of the arch. Cabo is also a great place to scuba dive and snorkel. For hiring equipment, and for instruction, you can reach out to Manta, Amigos Del Mar, or JT Watersports.
The nightlife is also very active, with tons of options to choose from. The places here range from laid-back beach shacks to lounge around in to live bands to huge clubs playing the latest house. Here are some recommendations. Zoo is one of the biggest and most ornate dance clubs, and plays everything from 80s pop to house. The Nowhere Bar is a small but popular hangout. Their claim to fame? A four-hour long happy hour! Again & Again and Las Veritas offer great live bands and a vibrant atmosphere.

Now to the more unusual stuff that Cabo has to offer.
Watching the whales: A quieter activity to indulge in, this is no less rewarding. Grey Whales migrate to Mexico all the way from Alaska and Canada to give birth to their young ones. Fodor's mentions this wonderful experience where:
tourists go in pangas (tiny boats) out into the lagoons. Oftentimes, the whales and their new babies will approach the boat, rubbing against it, and looking with their sweet brown eyes at the people inside.
Drive into the desert: The best way to enjoy the wild beauty of the Cabo outback is on a 4 wheel-drive humvee. This is exactly what some tour operators like Terramar, Cabo Adventures, Baja Outback offer. Tour costs vary from $150 to $220.
You drive these luxury H2 Hummers, going off-road to cruise desert and beachfront terrain in style, while learning about the surrounding area through expert guides who are in one of the Hummers. Communication devices link up to 10 vehicles in the caravan, allowing you to listen to the narrations of the guide.
Eating, with a twist: Cabo offers a lot of choice when it comes to eating. Here are a couple places, which offer a very different eating experience. The 12 Tribe restaurant offers a great location to enjoy the sunset, with indoor/outdoor seating.
The restaurant does not serve Mexican food. This restaurant serves traditional foods that have been created to represent the 12 different tribes from the Bible.
