aluminum boat dock
Have aluminum boat dock. Given high winds it moves inland.Have removed wheels and put metal stakes in place...?
It will also swing sideways causing further difficulty in moving. Wind and water can become very rough at times on lake. Would very much appreciate any suggestions to resolve this problems. Thanks.
Presuming this is a floating dock, one of the best systems i have seen involves running 2 cables from anchors on the shore to anchors on the lake bottom out past the end of the dock. The dock is then attached to the cables with shackles, allowing it to raise and lower with the water level. This arrangement also allows the dock to be positioned closer to shore as the water level rises.
