i have a 14 ft aluminum john boat.has anyone ever seen someone with carpet directly on the boats floor(aluminum its not flat.are do i have to make a deck above floor the put on carpet? also what do u think is the best bass lure for stained water with lots of stumps in the lake? i like the bandit 300 series crank bait in chartreuse color
Use marine plywood to create a flat surface/deck but make it removeable in case of access being needed underneath. Cover it with indoor/outdoor carpet. Easy to keep clean with a water hose.

decking on 14' semi v hull boat?
im about to buy a 14' semi v hull sea king aluminum boat. the decking comes about 5" from the rail. is that safe to stand up on or is it going to be unstable. this boat is only going to be used in small lakes and rivers
should be unless your fishing with my 2 brother-in-laws
