2001 yamaha waverunner
There is a yamaha waverunner xlt 1200 (2001 edition) for sale and it may have a problem?
There is this waverunner for sale near my house and we've been wanting one for so long! The guy that's selling it (not originally his) said that when he tried to start it, it sounded like it was 'turning over' and sounded like it was 'not receiving gas', but doesn't know much about jet skis. Any ideas of what the problem could be? Please tell me! I really want it and I would get it fixed up if it isn't that big of a problem.
Don't buy it. It's 10 years old now and will end up costing more than what it's worth in time and money. But if you have to buy it, before you give the seller any money, have a diagnostic inspection done on the engine and get a written estimate for repairs. Then decide whether to move forward or not.
BTW, you pay for the inspection. But he transport to the shop so he knows you aren't pulling a fast one on him.
