18 cuddy cabin
What kind of boat do you recommend for a young family of 5?
We are looking to purchase our first boat. Not sure what kind of boat we want. We have 3 kids ages 8, 5, and 18 months. We want to pull the 8 & 5 year olds on a tube. We will mostly be on the river and sometimes the Bay (Green Bay).
Ann, great question and I can't believe nobody has given any advice on this yet.
Personally, I'm recommending that you visit the closest Chaparral dealer and look at their line up of bow riders and wake board boats. You'll be truly amazed at what they have to offer. I can tell you that they also build a great boat with a great resale value. You should also be able to find good deals on used models as well.

I could go into all the advantages of buying a Chaparral as I've owned a 2550SX cuddy cabin and now a 330 Signature cruiser since 1989. They are truly fantastic boats to own.
